the ultimate fan art. our school newspaper is doing a spread on classics (the 90's) versus the contemps (2000 and beyond). we compared cartoons, toys, cartoons, music, cartoons, fads, and cartoons.
the best part was just giving me an excuse to put optimus prime, cobra commando, the ninja turtles, and invader zim in the same picture. and that's why this is my ultimate fan art. a tribute to all the cartoons that inspired me when i was growing up.
nothing was referenced for this picture, so i apologize if i messed up some detail on prime or cobra because my memories have been polluted by the more modern versions.
and of course thank you to my girlfriend, who did the lovely job of shading this. (though i still did most of it myself, since i was so obsessive about it, haha)
